Ensuring that our company continues to be recognised for professionalism, integrity and trust, and taking it to a higher level is the primary responsibility of all employees. In this context, the expectations from company employees are listed below:
The aim of 5S is to fully reflect an ethical business approach that goes beyond moral traditions and values across all our business processes, including organisational units, technological assets, financial and operational activities.
5S strictly rejects bribery and corruption. It is committed to adhering to fair and transparent business principles in all relationships with stakeholders. 5S employees are strictly prohibited from making, offering or promising any payment or gift to influence decisions or obtain unlawful benefits in dealings with stakeholders or public institutions. Making payments or offering gifts to political parties, party members or affiliated organisations on behalf of 5S is also contrary to 5S Ethical Values.
5S is responsible for the implementation of its anti-bribery and anti-corruption policy throughout the entire supply chain.
Offering, accepting or giving bribes or commissions that constitute a criminal offence is strictly prohibited at 5S. Any employee or manager who encounters such an offer is obliged to report it immediately to the General Manager.
The use of 5S resources, name, identity and influence for personal benefit is strictly prohibited. Avoiding any situation that may negatively affect the company’s name and image is one of the most important responsibilities of all employees. The following principles define the conduct expected of employees in the course of their duties and in their private lives arising from business relationships.
Employees shall not enter into any business relationship with family members, friends or other third parties that involves mutual benefit.
Employees shall not obtain any commercial benefit by leaking any 5S information, nor facilitate such benefit for others.
Employees shall not work for another person or organisation for remuneration or similar benefit during working hours under any circumstances. However, any work performed outside working hours must not create a conflict of interest with 5S practices, must comply with business ethics and supporting policies, and must not negatively affect their duties within the company.
Employees misusing their authority for their own benefit and/or that of their relatives, or acting in a manner contrary to expected diligence, resulting in harm to 5S, is unacceptable.
Employees shall not obtain personal gain, directly or indirectly, from procurement, sales activities or any contracts to which 5S is a party.
Employees shall not engage in any act or behaviour contrary to moral standards, laws or 5S discipline.
Employees take into account company interests when using resources on behalf of 5S. Company assets, facilities and personnel shall not be used outside the company for any purpose, under any name or for the benefit of any person without a company interest. The principle of “cost efficiency in all matters” is applied by all staff.
Meetings with visitors during working hours must be conducted in a reasonable timeframe in relation to the purpose of the visit and without disrupting workflow.
Employees shall not engage in private business relationships with customers, subcontractors, suppliers or other parties with whom the company has commercial relations.
In customer relations, even if it is in the customer’s favour, no action shall be taken without the customer’s knowledge, and advantage shall not be taken of customer vulnerabilities. Neither shall misleading or incomplete information be provided for profit.
Company personnel shall not request or imply any gifts from individuals or organisations with whom the company has commercial relations.
When representing the company, employees shall act in accordance with 5S values, policies and ethical rules, and represent the company in the best possible way both internally and externally.
Acceptance of any gifts or benefits that are explicitly or implicitly linked to a return is prohibited. Bribery and/or commission giving, receiving or offering is not acceptable under any circumstances. Company employees are prohibited from accepting cash or similar benefits, including loans, from subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, competitors or customers.
In exceptional cases where cultural values require gift exchange beyond company policy, such gifts may only be accepted on behalf of the company and with senior management approval. In all cases, gift exchange must comply with local cultural norms.
Employees act with awareness of environmental responsibility both during and outside working hours. Proper waste segregation, protection of natural resources and efficient use are among the key responsibilities of 5S employees.
Employees shall not disclose company or customer information to third parties unless required by law or official authorities. Confidential documents shall not be taken outside the organisation without approval from the responsible authority or senior management. Passwords, user codes and similar identifiers must be kept confidential and not shared with unauthorised persons.
Where information sharing with third parties is necessary for business purposes, a confidentiality agreement or written commitment must first be obtained to ensure protection of the shared information.
